Preliminary round first-legs to take place across Africa
TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2023-24 gets underway on Friday with the first-legs of the preliminary round taking place across Africa.
The 59th edition of the CAF Champions League will take place through the 2022-23 league season beginning on Friday.
The first-legs of the preliminary round will see 16 teams compete for a place in the first round, with the second-legs taking place next weekend.
Among the teams in action this weekend are former champions TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa, and Zamalek from Egypt.
The draw for the group stage will take place on Monday, December 12, with the groups beginning on February 10, 2023.
