In a friendly match played in Los Angeles, Argentina defeated Guatemala 3-0 on Friday night. This was Argentina's first match without Lionel Messi, who is currently injured.
Gonzalo Martinez scored the first goal for Argentina from the penalty spot after 27 minutes. Giovani Lo Celso scored the second goal in the 36th minute. Simeone, who was making his debut for Argentina, scored the third goal in the 54th minute.
