Dallas Mavericks Win Seventh Straight Behind Doncic's 47-Point Effort
Doncic and Irving Lead the Way
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 71 points, 19 rebounds, and 14 assists as the Dallas Mavericks extended their winning streak to seven games with a 122-96 victory over the Houston Rockets on Friday night. Doncic finished with a game-high 47 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists, while Irving added 24 points and seven assists.
Mavericks Dominate Despite Missing Key Players
The Mavericks were without several key players due to injury, including Maxi Kleber, Josh Green, and Dorian Finney-Smith. However, the team's depth proved to be too much for the Rockets, who were led by Kevin Porter Jr.'s 21 points. Dallas shot 51.4% from the field and held Houston to just 42.7% shooting.
Rockets Struggle to Keep Up
The Rockets have now lost four straight games and are 10-25 on the season. The team has struggled to find consistency on both ends of the floor, and their lack of depth has been exposed in recent losses. Houston will look to turn things around when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
