Spain Beat Northern Ireland 5-0 to Finish Pre-Euros in Style
Pedri on Target as Spain Cruise to Victory
Spain finished their preparations for Euro 2020 in style with a convincing 5-0 victory over Northern Ireland in Madrid on Tuesday.
Daniel Ballard's early goal gave Northern Ireland hope of a shock result, but Spain turned the game around with goals from Cesc Fabregas, Jordi Alba, Gerard Moreno, and Pedri (2).
Pedri's goals were his first for Spain, and they helped secure the Spanish team a third straight victory ahead of their opening Euro 2020 match against Sweden on Monday.
Northern Ireland, meanwhile, will be hoping to improve on their recent record against Spain when they face the world champions in Belfast in September.
